Disciple Making Medicine is a strategy to obey the Lord’s commands to make reproducing disciples and heal the sick.
As physicians we need God’s vision of our medical work, not the 20,000 feet view, but heaven’s view. The Great Physician says, “I will not forget you. See, I have inscribed you on the palms of my hands.” The nail marks prove He never forgets us, but how easily I can forget Him in my ‘busyness’ as a physician. He said, “I must be about my Father’s business.” We should be about the same business as our Lord with our patients, and follow His example as He ministered to the sick of Galilee and Judea.
