In 2020 the Rosani Lens Project became an official non-profit organization.  It was developed by Dr. Benjamin Thomas, an ophthalmologist in Jacksonville, FL.  The Rosani Lens Project exists in the hope that eyeglasses will be used to spread God's love around the world in a practical and much needed way.  The goal of Rosani is to provide what's needed for teams to build new custom eyeglasses for patients in underserved areas around the globe.  We train volunteers in giving visual acuity tests and the process of building the Rosani glasses while on site.  

The Rosani process has proven to be extremely successful around the globe in the last five years.  Rosani kits have now been taken by 44 teams to countries on 5 continents globally.  Over 2,600 pairs of custom prescription eyeglasses have been distributed to patients in need.  The Rosani team looks forward to meeting and training more individuals in the upcoming years to take glasses to those in need around the world.
