International Mission Opportunities provides free surgeries, medical and dental care to under-served people around the world through medical mission trips. IMO recruits volunteer doctors, dentists and other health care professionals as well as non-medical volunteers to conduct overseas medical projects in areas where healthcare is limited or difficult to obtain. Inadequate funds often prevent patients from obtaining simple surgeries. IMO connects patients to the appropriate surgical team. In a 2 week project we treat about Four Thousand Patients IMO provides all arrangements for its medical volunteers, including transportation, food, government permits and in-country housing. Equipment, supplies and medicines are secured for the medical projects from donations through partnerships with other organizations.
