Mentoring missionaries-to-be is a joy! Several are either overseas or on their way!.
I work Stateside now but worked in Africa several years - DRC (during the time it was Zaire). Also did a sabbatical in Gabon. My joy is assisting students to experience global health. IWU offers nursing students the opportunity for a semester of study in Zambia. I am part of a team studying head-size of infants post Zika outbreak
A new area of interest is an educational exchange with a university in China. The DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) students will be required to experience Global Healthcare on site in either China, Haiti, or Zambia.
